Neat. I believe we've spoken about this before, but it's a nice sanity-check to know that I'm not the only Linux person who avoids Rstudio. I'm not sure how to feel about the news that it's including Python too now.

Can you tell me more about your love-hate relationship with tidyverse? I've skimmed some of the documentation but haven't actually learned it, and I am made uneasy by the cult following it seems to draw. I mean, Rbase works. Do I really need to learn another toolset layered on top in order to be taken seriously?
